Meet Our Team

Michael Boykins, Principal

I grew up in the Maize community, and I’m excited to return home. With my return, I bring a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence. I began my career as a high school history teacher, then spent seven years as a high school guidance counselor, followed by five years as an assistant principal.

I’m known for my passion for student success, shared leadership, and strong communication skills. When I’m not cheering on the Mavs, my wife and I enjoy spending our free time with our family, which includes three sons, a daughter, and two dogs.

Leadership Team

Support Staff

Our secretaries manage administrative tasks, support communication between staff, students, and parents, and ensure the smooth operation of the school office. A high school registrar is responsible for managing student records, enrollment, and maintaining accurate academic and personal information. Our counselors support students' emotional, social, and academic development by providing guidance, resources, and a safe space to address their needs. Our school nurse cares for the health and wellness of students, including administering medication.
