Welcome new Maize South High School assistant principal, Hannah Schaake-Vanauken!
We're excited to welcome Hannah Schaake-Vanauken, a new Maize South High School assistant principal for 2026-27! Join us in congratulating her as she steps into her new role.
During the June Maize Board of Education meeting, board members approved the hiring of Hannah Schaake-Vanauken, who will be a new Maize South High School Assistant Principal effective July 1. She has been an Instructional Technology Specialist at Wichita USD 259’s Hamilton Middle School since August 2023 and previously worked as a classroom teacher for nine years at Hadley Middle School and Hamilton Middle School. She earned bachelor and master degrees from Baker University.
